How can I purchase tailgating spaces?
Tailgate space owners from the prior year have the privilege of renewing their space during Phase I of tailgating sales and the exclusive opportunity to purchase additional spaces or change locations during Phase II. Any spaces not purchased during the first two phases will go on sale to the general public beginning in Phase III. All tailgating spaces are sold online at www.iroquoissteeplechase.org

Can I transfer my space to someone else?
Yes. Please fill out the form located HERE and send it back to us to transfer your space.

What are the phases and the corresponding dates?
See Tailgating Sales Phases.

What if I want to change tailgate locations from last year?
We recommend that you renew your tailgating space during Phase I, so that you are guaranteed a tailgating space. After everyone has had the opportunity to renew their space from the previous year, you will then be allowed to swap any remaining open spaces during Phase II. It is imperative that you fully complete this shopping process to guarantee that your space has been changed. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

If I don’t renew during Phase I, am I excluded from Phase II?
No, but you do risk losing your space. In Phase II, any spaces that are not renewed during Phase I will go on sale to all previous year tailgaters. Guaranteed renewal only occurs during Phase I.

Can I change or upgrade tailgating locations in Phase III?
No, after Phase II all location assignments are permanent. All sales are final at the end of each phase.

Can I purchase tailgating tickets on race day?
No. No tailgating space or armbands will be sold on race day.

How can my friends buy additional armbands for my space?
The online reservation system is designed for you to give your ARMBAND username and password to your friends. By using this guest username and password, your friends can access your space to purchase additional armbands with their own credit cards. These armbands will be mailed to the address your guest specifies online during the reservation process.

As a space owner, you can use your permanent username and password to access a screen listing the names of those guests who have purchased armbands associated with your space. You are responsible for limiting the number of armbands each of your guests purchases. The online reservation system will cap the total number of armbands that can be purchased based on the limits associated with each tailgating area.

Can I buy individual tailgating armbands?
No, all armband purchases must be affiliated with a specific tailgating space. In order to purchase tailgating armbands, you either must own a tailgating space or have permission from a space owner to use their guest username and password to purchase armbands from their space.

What if I do not have a credit card?
If you do not have a credit card, you can mail in a check. If making payment by check, you must still adhere to the phase deadlines. Send payment to:

Is ADA parking available?
