Barton Perreira Opens Doors in Nashville, Joins Iroquois Steeplechase as Sponsor

Green Hills eyewear boutique to celebrate grand opening by giving back

NASHVILLE, Tenn. May 3, 2012 – Barton Perreira, Green Hills’ new high-end eyewear boutique, will celebrate its Nashville grand opening on May 10 by donating 20 percent of the day’s proceeds as well as 10 percent of the proceeds from their first week of business to the Iroquois Steeplechase and its beneficiary, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.

The company’s highly anticipated new location will open its doors in the Hill Center shopping area of Green Hills, and will feature original handmade luxury eyewear by designer, Patty Perreira. To jumpstart involvement within the Nashville community, Barton Perreira will be Alliance Event Sponsor for the 71st running of the Iroquois in addition to its grand opening donations.

“Patty Perreira and I are very proud to have our brand associated with the Iroquois Steeplechase event,” said Bill Barton, CEO of Barton Perreira. “Just knowing that we will be giving back to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital is such an honor. We are really looking forward to the grand opening and raising proceeds for such a great, community-oriented cause.”

The success of the Iroquois and ability to give back to Children’s Hospital is in large part due to the continued generosity of the Middle Tennessee business community. In addition, the Iroquois draws an average crowd of 25,000 each year, putting sponsors’ brands in front of thousands on race day.
